Zee Drugs put the higher of their two Vemox strengths in this box: 500 mg of amoxicillin per capsule, thirty capsules. It is the presentation most people recognise, being the usual adult unit strength for the drug worldwide.
Amoxicillin belongs to the aminopenicillin family and is generally well tolerated, though a penicillin allergy rules it out completely. Note that this is plain amoxicillin with nothing added - it has none of the beta-lactamase protection that the clavulanate combination products elsewhere in this section carry.
