Methyltrienolone, known in the laboratory as metribolone or R1881, is the 17-alpha-methylated oral relative of trenbolone. It does not aromatise, and its grip on the androgen receptor is far stronger than testosterone's, which is why the tablets are measured in single milligrams rather than the tens usual for oral androgens.
Alpha Pharma present it as fifty 1 mg tablets in foil blisters inside a printed carton. The same methyl group that lets the molecule survive the liver's first pass also makes this one of the harshest orals in the category on that organ, and it is treated with corresponding caution.
