Unusually for a tablet, methenolone acetate is not 17-alpha-alkylated. It is protected instead by a methyl group at carbon 1, which is why Primo Tabs can exist as a swallowable form of a compound most people associate with injections, and why this oral is considered less taxing on the liver than the alkylated ones.
Alpha Pharma supplies it at 25 mg per tablet, 50 tablets to the carton. The trade-off with this route is poor oral availability - a substantial share of what goes in never reaches circulation, which is the main practical difference between the tablets and the injectable version.
