Each tablet carries 2.5 mg of letrozole, a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor that works by shutting down the enzyme responsible for turning androgens into estrogen. It is swallowed rather than injected and acts systemically. Cipla is one of the larger generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, and Fempro is a plain registered generic from that line — the same molecule and strength found in the bigger tubs, in a far smaller box.
