The larger of Maxtreme's two tamoxifen presentations: 20 mg per tablet, one hundred tablets to the box, where the Maxi-Fen-10 holds fifty at half that strength. It is the bulk version of the same product rather than a different one.
Tamoxifen citrate works as an estrogen receptor antagonist in breast tissue. It does not lower circulating estrogen the way an aromatase inhibitor does — it occupies the receptor instead, leaving hormone levels themselves alone. That mechanical difference is the practical dividing line between the two anti-estrogen families.
