Androlic is the trade name under which oxymetholone has circulated from Thailand for decades. Body Research presses it at 50 mg per tablet in hundred-tablet packs, twice the count of the fifty-tablet boxes most other laboratories use at this strength.
The compound is a dihydrotestosterone derivative that behaves nothing like the rest of that family. It is markedly oestrogenic through direct receptor action, holds water readily, and ranks among the more hepatically demanding orals in the category. Its medical role lies in anaemia and in significant weight loss, not in sport.
