Spironolactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic that also blocks androgen receptors, and that second, anti-androgenic action is what puts it in this section rather than among ordinary water tablets.
RPG, an Indian pharmaceutical manufacturer, supplies it under the original Aldactone name as an oral tablet: 25 mg each, thirty to the pack. This is the lower of the two RPG boxes stocked here, so it is the finer-grained one - smaller increments and more tablets to work with than the 100 mg carton.
