Two nandrolone esters share this ampoule: phenylpropionate, which clears comparatively quickly, and decanoate, whose ten-carbon chain keeps the hormone releasing long after the short ester is spent.

Nandrolone itself is 19-nortestosterone - the testosterone molecule minus the methyl group at carbon 19 - and that single edit leaves it aromatising only weakly while giving it genuine progestogenic activity, which is what distinguishes it from the testosterone esters alongside it.
